Yes! magazine has revealed their 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2012, with Anne Curtis topping the list.

The star-studded event on July 2 was attended by Anne herself and those who have made it to this year’s 100 Most Beautiful list.

The Yes! 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2012 special issue is now out in magazine stands for only P150. Also available is the Yes! July 2012 issue with a special gatefold cover featuring Star Magic’s brightest stars.

Anne Curtis Leaves Showtime to Film the Hollywood Movie ‘Blood Ransom’

Anne Curtis will be gone from “Showtime” for a month to shoot a Hollywood movie.


Anne Curtis bid goodbye to her “Showtime” family on May 23 “to pursue her dreams.” She will be on temporary leave for a month.

Yesterday, the Kapamilya star tweeted:

Apparently, Anne left the country to do a Hollywood movie with the working title “Blood Ransom.” The film is a crime thriller produced by Tectonic Films to be directed by Fil-Am Francis dela Torre. The said film outfit also produced the romantic movie “Subject: I Love You” which starred our very own Jericho Rosales which was also directed by dela Torre.

Anne will be the only Filipino in “Blood Ransom,” which will star an all-American cast.

Upon her return to the country, the “Showtime” host will finish shooting her upcoming teleserye, “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw,” which will also star Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla, and also prep up for her “No Other Concert” National Tour.

Anne Curtis, also called the “National Sweetheart,” “Dyosa ng Kagandahan” and lately the “Princess of All Media,” is celebrating her 27th birthday on February 17, 2012.

Anne was born in 1985 in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia from a Filipina mother, Carmen Ojales, and Australian father, James Curtis-Smith.

For the whole day on Friday, #HappyBirthdayAnneCurtis became a trending topic nationwide on Twitter.

The versatile actress was hosting ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show, “It’s Showtime,” when the greeting-hashtag occupied the top spot in the social networking site.

One of the tweets had a photo of the cakes sent to Anne at the show’s studio attached.



Meanwhile, aside from the so-called ‘off-key singer’ issue with international singing sensation Lea Salonga, the latest buzz about Anne is that she is going back to the concert scene.

Several web sources posted that Anne will be staging a concert at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu on March 23, 2012.
