According to Times of India, this is a protection home, not a hotel for honeymoon. This may apparently the message the district police have for runaway couples here, as two couples are forced to share a single room, till they feel safe enough about living outside.

Two pairs of cots with inadequate quilts and beddings in a poorly lit room add to the woes of the four couples who are forced to share two rooms of the protection house, manned by a sub-inspector, who expressed inability when it came to providing facilities here. "Giving protection is our job and we are doing that well," said the policeman on duty here. The couples are facing problems as they are cramped for space at the accommodation provided to them.
"We 'adjust' somehow. We were three couples earlier but are four now. The administration arranged only two rooms for us. Newly-wed couples need privacy, but there is no privacy for us," said a couple, Parmanand Singh and Sarvjeet Kaur.
