Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) officially inaugurated as one of the world’s New 7 Wonders of Nature (PH)

> The Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) will be officially inaugurated as one of the world’s New Seven Wonders of Nature (N7WN) at the One Esplanade grounds beside the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City this Saturday evening.


There will be a free concert featuring local artists including Sarah Geronimo, Joey Ayala, and Pilipinas Got Talent finalist El Gamma Penumbra. Boy Abunda and Grace Lee will host the event which will begin at 6PM.

Hot air balloons are also displayed at the venue starting at 3PM.

In an April 18 press release, environment and natural resources secretary Ramon Paje says the organizers decided to hold two separate celebrations in Metro Manila and in Puerto Princesa City.

N7WN president and founder Bernard Weber is expected to turn over a commemorative plaque to the
Philippine government, which will be installed at a specific site in the metro. Another plaque will be installed in Palawan, near the PPUR entrance.
