The weather bureau said that as of 5:00 a.m. today, the center of Bagyong Ambo was spotted 290 kilometers East of Aparri, Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is forecast to move North Northwest at 9 kph.

Signal No. 1 (45-60 kph winds):

- Calayan Islands
PAGASA alerted residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under Signal No. 1 against possible flashfloods and landslides.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 15-25 mm per hour (heavy) within the 400 km diameter of the Tropical Storm, the weather bureau stated.
TS Ambo, the agency said, is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring rains over Central and Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the seaboards of Southern Luzon and Visayas and the eastern seaboard of Northern and Central Luzon due to the combined effect of TS Ambo and the Southwest Monsoon, PAGASA added.

We already experienced this Bagyong”AMBO” and it has many place and our products disasters again that’s why we must be aware of the upcoming typhoon again.
