PAGASA's Project NOAH

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has launched a new website called Project NOAH or the Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards.


The website, which can be accessed through the web address http://noah.dost.gov.ph, has all weather and hazard-related information.

You can search for information for specific locations as well as view the weather outlook, flood map, weather stations, overview of realtime images from satellites and the bureau’s doppler stations.

It’s about page says NOAH scientists will act as the research and technology advisory group to PAGASA and Phivolcs.

“They will coordinate and collaborate with government agencies to incorporate disaster science research, advanced technology and innovative information services in government's disaster prevention efforts,” it stated.
