Angel Locsin confirms breakup with Phil Younghusband on Twitter

> Angel Locsin has officially confirmed her breakup with Phil Younghusband. The Kapamilya actress admitted the split on Twitter recently.

According to the article on CoolBuster, the confirmation ends all speculations that the couple are no longer an item due to the absence of their usual sweet messages for each other on social networking sites.

“Sa lahat po ng nagtatanong kung totoo bang hiwalay na kami ni Phil, Totoo po,” the multi-awarded actress posted on her official @143redangel Twitter account.

Angel asked for understanding specially from her supporters for not disclosing the real reason of the breakup.

“Sana po maintindihan nyo kung hindi na po namin sasabihin ang dahilan..pero maayos po kaming naghiwalay at mutual decision po ito,” said the actress, who topbills the upcoming family drama primetime series “The Legal Wife.”

“Pasensya na po kung hindi po kami makasagot agad tungkol sa status ng aming relasyon. Lalong-lalo na po sa mga sumuporta sa aming dalawa. Hindi po namin kayo binalewala... mahirap lang po talaga kung nasa ganitong sitwasyon,” she explained.

Angel thanked everyone who followed their story and supported her romance with the Azkals hunk, which lasted for more than a year.

“Salamat po sa lahat ng sumubaybay at sumuporta sa journey namin ni Phil lalo na ho dito sa twitter. Hinding-hindi po namin malilimutan,” she added.

In addition, the two officially became a couple on May 27, 2012, a little less than sixteen months after the football star asked the actress out for a Valentine date.
