Horseback riding is Kim's newest hobby (Philippines)

MANILA, Philippines – Actress Kim Chiu has taken on a new hobby to cope with her stressful and hectic showbiz life.

In an interview with Maven magazine, Chiu said she is currently enjoying horseback riding whenever she wants to escape from her busy schedule.

“Kapag sobrang stressed ako, magda-drive ako papuntang Subic. Mayroon kasing patakbuhan ng kabayo doon. Sasakay ako sa isang kabayo tapos tatakbo siya ng tatabo hanggang mag-e-enjoy ako at makamalimutan ko na yung mga problema ko. Yun ang bago kong hobby,” she said.

Chiu said she fell in love with horseback riding last year.

“Dati pa ako nakapunta sa patakbuhan ng kabayo pero hindi pa ako mahilig sumakay sa kabayo noon. Hanggang may panahon na parang problema ako, sumakay na ako nang sumakay ng kabayo hanggang ang saya ko na,” she said.

Chiu said it is always refreshing to experience something new.

Kris Aquino won’t say the name but gave hints that her leading man in an upcoming teleserye has the initials R and P.

In an interview with reporters, Kris said that the actor has agreed “in principle” to be the leading man in a teleserye that would start taping in 2012. She said it has the title, “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” and would also star Anne Curtis.
 
“Umoo na sa amin in principle kung sino ‘yung magiging leading man namin. Pero inawat ako ng ating mga kapamilya na i-announce. Pero bigyan ko kayo ng clue. His first name starts with an ‘R,’ and his last name starts with a ‘P.’ Mag-isip kayo. Siguro alam n’yo na kung sino ‘yun. So excited na excited talaga ako kasi sabi ko nga, alam ng Diyos kung ano ‘yung tamang panahon so binigay n’ya sa ganitong panahon na sa 2012, I am a mother, I am an actress and I am a producer,” Kris said.

Kris said that she would also do two movies in 2012: a family drama and another one in time for the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival. 
 
“Finally, nagtiwala na ang Star Cinema na bigyan ako ng drama, family drama talaga. The second movie, last night right after we got graded A (for “Segunda Mano”), si Tita Malou (Santos) said, ‘Bino-block off ko na ha ang Metro Manila Film Festival 2012, meron na tayong magandang konsepto,’” Kris said. 

Kris and Robin had an ill-fated romance that was reportedly opposed by Aquino's family. 

Last year, they teamed up to co-host the short-lived noontime show "Pilipinas Win na Win."
