Enchong Dee Reunites With Jessy Mendiola In “The Reunion” (Philippines)

> As the afternoon teleserye “Maria La Del Barrio” aired its final episode on ABS-CBN on March 2, the loveteam of its lead stars Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales also came to an end.

The two celebrities are going to be paired to other Kapamilya stars.

Erich is currently promoting “Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang,” her movie with hunk actor Derek Ramsay.

Later this year, she is expected to work with Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer for their upcoming romance-drama film “Suddenly It’s Magic” under Star Cinema.

Enchong, meanwhile, is set to do a reunion project with Jessy Mendiola whom he first teamed-up with in the teleserye “Boystown.”

Aside from Enchong and Jessy, “The Reunion” cast includes Xian Lim, Kean Cipriano and Enrique Gil. Enchong revealed that they already have started shooting scenes for the movie.

“The Reunion” tells the story of four young men who are looking for the true meaning of love and happiness. The film’s director, Frasco Mortiz, describes it as a “barkada movie.”
