“Ferrari has decided to collect funds to help the families of victims of the quakes which hit the Emilia Romagna region with a big online auction open to bidders internationally.”
They will include numerous unique parts of the company’s heritage, but the most impressive offering is probably a 599XX track car equipped with the Evoluzione Package. Ferrari 599XX cranks out 750 hp from its 6.0-liter V-12 engine, has an active rear wing inspired by Formula 1 race cars and estimated market value of €1.3 million (about $1.6 million).
Other items on auction will include a V8 F1 engine, race suits, helmets worn and donated by F1
drivers Fernando Alonso and Filipe Massa.
