It will be the first trip to the NBA Finals for OKC, while Miami will be on its second consecutive Finals appearance.
OKC earned the first ticket to the 2012 NBA Finals after beating San Antonio in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday, June 7. The Thunder-Spurs best of seven series ended at 4-2.
Miami needed a Game 7 win in the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston Celtics to make it into the 2012 NBA Finals. LeBron James led the Heat against the Celtics to win their seven-game series, 4-3.
Kevin Durant, Russel Westbrook and Serge Ibaka are expected to lead the Thunder against the Heat‘s Big Three of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
