Astig Pinoy - Winner of ShowTime 2011 ,held on Dec 10,2011 (Philippines)

Astig Pinoy, a modified modern folk dance group from Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental, has been declared Showtime Season 4 Grand Champion during the show’s grand finals at Ynares Center in Antipolo City on Saturday, December 10, 2011.

Astig Pinoy received a perfect 10 score from the madlang people and from Showtime mainstay Vice Ganda as well as most of the other celebrity judges. The group garnered an overall average score of 9.933 percent.

Astig Pinoy bagged P1 Million cash and took home another P1 Million for their barangay.

The UDC dance group from Pasig, on the other hand, won as “Madlang People’s Choice” while Barangay Buñao of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental (remote) and Barangay Dela Paz, Antipolo City (venue) won the best barangay intro. Each recieved a P100,000-prize.
