Philippine Actress "Katrina Halili" To Quit Showbiz?

Philippine Actress Katrina Halili during an interview joked about bidding show business goodbye once she becomes very rich.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), whom Katrina granted an interview at her Quezon City residence last December 12, asked the Kapuso actress about her beach lot in Palawan and her plan to develop it into a resort.

She said her plan has not materialized yet, but a large house was already built there.

“Hindi ko pa po siya napapatayuan ng resort,” Katrina replied. “Pero may bahay na, may malaking bahay na po akong naipatayo doon.”

The actress said putting a resort requires a big budget. She also revealed that her mom already held a negotiation with an investor.

“Napakalaking budget ang kailangan kung magpapatayo doon ng resort, pero may kausap na po ang mama ko na investor para sa pagpapatayo ng resort,” she told PEP.

Katrina hopes it will push through.

“Sana matuloy po. Kung matuloy, goodbye! Milyonarya na ako! Joke lang!” she jokingly said, according to the report.

When asked if she has a plan to quit showbiz, Katrina answered no though she might just lie-low.

“Hindi naman, magla-lie low lang siguro na parang magiging part-time job ko na lang ang showbiz. Talagang part-time job na lang daw ang showbiz?” she said, laughing.

The report said Katrina’s contract with GMA-7 will expire in March 2012.
