Andi Eigenmann to make TV comeback via Maria Mercedes remake (PH)

> After temporarily leaving show business due to pregnancy, Andi Eigenmann is said to be making a comeback on television through the remake of Maria Mercedes.

Several sources say that the upcoming series will soon start shooting and will air on ABS-CBN in the second quarter of 2012.

Maria Mercedes is a Mexicanovela starring Thalia Sodi that became a household name in 1996. It’s tagalized version was aired on the Kapamilya network during the massive popularity of Thalia’s biggest hit series “Marimar” on RPN 9.

Will Andi do justice to the character?
