Top 24 of American Idol Season 11

> Wednesday’s “American Idol” revealed more than half of season 11′s Top 24.

Fourteen singers, six male and eight female, received the good news after impressing the judges with their final solo performances.

Among those moving forward to next week’s semifinals are early favorites Reed Grimm and Phillip Phillips, as well as repeat contestant Baylie Brown.

Others, however, were left brokenhearted when the judges revealed they would not get to continue in the competition.
