Ranbir Kapoor shares screen space with Kalki Koechlin in ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’(India)

> After creating magic with Wake-up Sid, Ayan Mukerji is all set to direct Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar’s home production, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. But a dampener to this otherwise delightful story was that Ranbir will be paired with his ex-flame Deepika Padukone. Yawn! After an overdose of the couple’s love story and break-up saga we weren’t really gung-ho about seeing them together yet again in a movie. Guess even the makers sensed the staleness of chemistry between the two and decided to introduce a hint of fresh fun. And thanks to this decision, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin have finally found their places in the star cast of YJHD. Hooray!

Ayan Mukerji’s new film has roped in two more actors who might balance out Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone’s rather stale and over-hyped chemistry

 Aditya’s cute performance as a magician in Guzaarish is still fresh in our minds. And Kalki Koechlin has definitely left a mark with her applause-worthy work in Dev D, Shaitan, That Girl In Yellow Boots and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Now that the star cast is finalised the movie, which was supposed to hit the floors in January, will start its shooting schedule later this month. “Our film…YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI starts this month…directed by yan mukherji and stars RANBIR- DEEPIKA and ADITYA ROY KAPUR and KALKI (sic),” KJo tweeted, confirming the news.
