Directed by Peter Berg (Hancock), the epic film adapted from the naval battle board game will be shown on the big screen in several countries starting next month.

As of this posting, there’s no information as to when the film will be shown in the Philippines.
It can be remembered that Kitsch on the “Late Show with David Letterman” reportedly alleged that an unidentified airport officer demanded an iPhone from him. Kitsch apparently mistakenly said that his bad experience (the so-called “airport bribery”) during his travel took place in the Philippines.
The Philippine government asked Kitsch to apologize, but, as far as we know, there has been no report whether or not the actor actually said he was sorry.
Before “Battleship,” Kitsch starred in “John Carter” which critics considered as “one of the biggest box office flops of all time.” Studio Walt Disney allegedly lost at least $200 million on the film.
Industry observers believe, however, that Kitsch will bounce back with “Battleship.” We’ll see.
