Dolphy Shows Up On TV To Disprove Rumors That He’s Dead (Philippines)

> Dolphy has been a victim of text and online hoaxes many times, among which is a rumor that he is already dead. To disprove claims of his supposed death, the Comedy King showed up on TV.

The 83-year-old comedian actor guested on TV5’s “Paparazzi Showbiz Exposed” on Saturday, March 31, to tell everyone that he is very much alive.

“Ito po si Dolphy at hindi po ako double,” said Dolphy in the interview.

Recent reports reveal that he’s been in and out of the hospital. At one time, his longtime partner, actress Zsa Zsa Padilla had said she was “worried” about his health.

In early March, his son, actor Epi Quizon told reporters that his dad is “very weak,” but the family remained “in high spirits.”

Last Saturday, Dolphy expressed to his fans gratitude for their support and prayers.

“Gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa inyo. Gustong-gusto ko kayong makapiling pero nagpapalakas pa ako ngayon. Huwag kayong mag-alala, magkikita-kita pa tayo. Mwah!” he said.
