Jessica Sanchez meeting with PNoy may not push through

> American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez may not be able to meet with President Benigno Aquino III upon the latter's visit in the United States on June.

The President is set to have a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House on his upcoming visit there and to the United Kingdom.

Malacañang said on Sunday that based on Aquino's tight schedule, meeting with the Filipino-Mexican singer is unlikely. "I'm not sure if it is possible to arrange a meeting that is so sudden, on both sides," said presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte on dzRB radio.

Meanwhile, Senate Resolution No. 776 was passed to commend Jessica's achievement on Idol.

Jessica is also set to perform for PBS’ National Memorial Day Concert on the West Lawn of the Capitol, where she will sing the National Anthem of the United States.
