The former University of the East Star and 4-time PBA Slam Dunk King added another title on his belt after he captured this year Slam Dunk Title against B-Meg's JC Intal, Rain Or Shine's Gabe Norwood, Petron's Arwind Santos, and Air21's Elmer Espiritu.
Despite registering only 40 points in the second round after a perpect alley-opp to himself in the first round,Canaleta turned to his old trick by dunking on a man on the third round while on the last round he dunk over three people including the 6-foot-9 behemoth Asi Taulava.
