She announced her pregnancy during a media conference on Thursday, July 5.
“I’ve come to a point that I feel so blessed because God has given me a great family and career. I just can’t thank Him more for another blessing. I pray that it’s a girl para hindi na ko outnumbered ng boys sa family,” Amy told reporters.
The baby will be Amy’s third child. She has a 3-year-old son, Sean Kyle, with her partner, radio host Carlo Castillo, and a 15-year-old son, Adi, from her estranged husband Brix Ferraris.
The actress and television personality revealed that she was adviced by her doctors to take a leave of absence from her show at least for a year.
Replacing her temporarily in her hosting job is Gelli De Belen.
