Malacañan : Philippine Independence Day 2012 Theme

> Kalayaan: Pananagutan ng Bayan para sa Tuwid na Daan.” (Freedom: The Accountability of a Sovereign Nation of Responsible Citizenry) will be the theme to be observed here in the Philippines in celebration of the 114th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence on 12 June.

Moreover, the logo for this year’s theme can also be downloaded from the website of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP). Malacañan encourages all Filipino organizations and individuals to adopt and commemorate said theme in the observance of the 114 Philippine Independence Day celebrations today.
