14 Submitted Entries for Metro Manila Film Festival 2012 (Philippines)

Fourteen potential movies hav been officially submitted in the hotly contested 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival in December. The annual film fest is now on its 38th year. Only eight entries shall be selected by a 14-member screening committee. The 14 nominees to this year's MMFF are:

The official entries to the MMFF, that runs every year from Dec. 25 to the first week of January, will be announced on the June 30. The Metro Manila Film Festival started last 1975. It became an annual tradition, 8 Filipino Films are shown from December 25 till the first week of January. During the course of the festival, no foreign movies are shown across the Philippines. Moreover, only films approved by the jurors of the MMFF will be shown.
