PAGASA Weather Forecast on June 4, 2012

>
A special weather outlook on the opening of classes on June 4, 2012, has been released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

According to PAGASA, the major weather system to affect most parts of the country will be the existence of Tropical Depression Ambo over the Philippine Sea and the Southwest Monsoon.

The weather bureau said these systems will bring occasional to frequent rains over Luzon and Visayas today and onwards until the opening of classes on Monday which may trigger flash floods and landslides particularly over the provinces of Palawan, Mindoro, Marinduque, Antique, Aklan, Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros, Romblon, Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur/Norte, Catanduanes, Batangas, Quezon, Aurora, Cavite, Bataan, Zambales, and NCR. Mindanao will be mostly cloudy skies with afternoon or evening rainshowers and
thunderstorms, it stated.

Coastal waters along the seaboards of Southern Luzon and Visayas will be moderate to rough, PAGASA added, with an advise to sea vessels en route along these areas to exercise extra caution for possible big waves generated by the monsoon surge while the rest of the country will have slight to moderate seas.
