A clandestine mini-space shuttle of the US Air Force known as X-37B is likely to land on earth anytime today, June 16, 2012.
The 29 feet long (8.8 meters) 15 feet wide (4.5 m) X-37B spacecraft and has a payload bay about the size of a pickup truck bed, has been in orbit for more than a year now for a secret mission is being powered by a solar panel that allows it to stay in orbit for months at a time.
However, Air Force officials said that the much anticipated return to earth of the unmanned robotic space plane depends on weather conditions at its intended landing site at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, as well as other factors.
