SM Cubao's Statement: Boy Injured in Escalator Mishap

> A 4-year-old boy was rushed to a hospital on Saturday after his hand got stuck in the escalator of a Quezon City mall. An eyewitness said mall goers of SM Cubao immediately came to the aid of the boy after they heard loud screams. Mall officials also attended to the boy and assisted in freeing his hand from the escalator.

SM Cubao's Official Statment

    A 4 year old boy accidentally caught his hand in the escalator of SM Cubao. He was immediately attended to and brought to the Quirino Memorial Medical Center where he was treated.

    Quirino Memorial Medical Center released the patient when x-ray showed there was no fracture. Pain relievers were instead prescribed.
