Boracay, Philippines is named as the best of the Top 10 Beach Destinations in Asia for 2012

Popular travel website Tripadvisor.com ranked Boracay, Philippines as the Best Beach Destination in Asia and sixth in the world for 2012.

Tripadvisor says that the island features several excellent beaches to choose from despite its small size. The site particularly mentioned Yapak Beach for its beautiful white shells, White Beach for its picture-perfect sunsets; and Balinghai Beach as perfect for honeymooners. The site recommends to visit the island during dry season to enjoy more of its beautiful beaches.
