San Antonio dominated the game and led by as much as 22 points, but it was sliced down to 10 as Oklahoma guard Russell Westbrook successfully made some three point shots late in the third quarter and used his speed and body control to score some layups early in the fourth period.
The momentum shifted to Thunder’s side in mid-4th quarter when they converted into points turnovers off a couple of missed three-points shots by the Spurs who somehow lost their rhythm. But Parker brought his team back into the game with long shots starting at 4 minutes remaining in the last period.
Manu Ginóbili also stepped up and added some points in the fourth, including a shot beyond the arc, for a total of 20 points in the entire game.Parker had 34 points.
