Life’s not been quite hunk-dory for Arjun Kapoor lately. The young man will very soon be seen in his debut film Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra and has had to deal with the sudden loss of his mother Mona Kapoor to cancer recently, just when he was about to start his journey in the industry. Supporting him and helping him cope with the loss is Katrina Kaif.
Kat and Arjun have known each other for years now, ever since Arjun dated Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan at one point of time. They became the best of buddies then and Kat considers him her rakhi brother. Although Ms K thinks that it’s no big deal to be supportive and that being by her friend’s side in such a situation is just normal, Arjun is quite touched by his buddy’s gesture. He’s made sure that he organises a special screening of Ishaqzaade for the Ek Tha Tiger leading lady right before the release. Declaring that Kat’s feedback does matter to him, Arjun is quite upbeat to know what Kat’s reaction will be after seeing his debut flick.
