Jollibee: One of the Best Fast-Food Chain in the World by Travel and Leisure Magazine

> Jollibee was being named as one of the best fast-food chain in the world according to the latest list posted by travelandleisure.com on their official website, in a post submitted on May 14, 2012. The news was also reported in one of the world’s most popular search engine yahoo.com.

The inclusion of the Philippine-based Jollibee in the list of the best fast-food chain in the world is an honor not only by the company but for all the Filipinos worldwide who loves to eat and travel.

The travelandleisure.com was also the owner of Travel and Leisure Magazine of the United States most popular magazine with worldwide subscription. It is under the arm of American Express Publishing Corporation.

Some of the few brands listed on the site were Pret a Manger from England, Teremok from Russia, Goli Vada Pav No. 1 from India and my personal favorite Albaik of Saudi Arabia. As a former OFW from the kingdom visiting Jeddah and returning home to Dammam is incomplete without bringing a piece of Albaik chicken.

Meanwhile back to Jollibee, the company started its operation way back 1978 with seven outlets and now the company have more than 600 outlets in the Philippines and more than 50 international stores worldwide.
