Bagyong Dindo Updates 2012 as of June 27, 2012 (Philippines)

The state weather bureau reports that as of 4PM Tuesday, June 26, the active low pressure area (ALPA) has developed into a tropical depression.

TD Dindo was spotted 670 kilometers east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph. PAGASA says it is forecast to move west northwest at 19 kph.
The tropical depression is not expected to make a landfall.

Southwest monsoon is still affecting Visayas and Mindanao, the weather bureau added.
