Google Tablet, the Nexus details leaked online

>
Several tech news sources have reported that Google, in its flagship I/O Conference announcement, is set to unveil the Nexus tablet.

Based on an alleged training document that reveals key details about the device, Gizmodo Australia reports that Google’s 7-inch tablet will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Reportedly manufactured by Asus, the tablet will be branded as Nexus 7. It has a 1280x800 IPS display, a 1.3Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, GeForce 12-core GPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Gizmodo Australia says the upcoming device will also offer NFC and Google Wallet (probably only in the US).

According to the leak, the battery can last up to 9 hours of operation.

The price tag? The report says the 8GB model will cost US$199 and the 16GB variant will cost US$249.

The tablet is expected to go on sale in Australia this July. No information yet as to when it will be available in other countries.
