Will love bloom for Enchong Dee and Julia Montes in “The Strangers” set? (Philippines)

> One of the eight official entries in this December’s 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is The Strangers to be topbilled by Enchong Dee, Julia Montes and Enrique Gil.

And it’s somehow what’s making Enchong happy at the moment. After The Reunion (which is still currently showing in theaters nationwide), he is not going to miss Julia that much because they will soon start filming the MMFF movie which is produced by Quantum Films.

Enchong has open admiration for Julia and he is vocal that he is willing to wait until the Walang Hanggan actress turns 18 when she can already be courted.

But despite his being vocal about his love for Julia, the two weren’t paired as a love team in The Reunion. Star Cinema instead paired Julia with Enrique, and Enchong with Jessy Mendiola.

Will things be different in The Strangers?

The storyline hasn’t been dropped yet but Enchong recently revealed that the movie will be more action and horror and with a subtle approach to romance. And considering the lineup of lead stars, we’re sensing a love triangle between the three.

Enchong also said that he has been working out in preparation for the movie because he will be showing some skin! It’s something to look forward to for his fans, but then of course we know we can’t really expect him to shed a lot of clothes because of his image.

But the more interesting question is, will love bloom for the two while doing their second movie together? Or more specifically, will Julia give in and disregard her 18-year-old rule? We know a lot of you are wishing Enchong the best of luck because he looks such a good boy who deserves a good love life.

The Strangers, however, will need a lot of promotional strategies because the movie will be facing such big productions (not to mention bigger stars) in the festival this December. To find out the other movies included in the 2012 MMFF.

Meanwhile, Enchong will soon be seen on primetime TV via the upcoming ABS-CBN soap Ina, Kapatid, Anak, where he is teamed up with Maja Salvador.
