Earthquake Philippines - MM and Mindoro Hit by 5.1 Magnitude Earthquake

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit Occidental Mindoro and several parts of Metro Manila around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 8.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake's epicenter was recorded at East of Looc town in Occidental Mindoro.

Residents in Looc experienced Intensity IV tremors, while those in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro as well as Manila, Muntinlupa and Quezon City felt Intensity III of the quake. Intensity I was felt as far out as Lucban in Quezon.

No casualties and damages to property has been reported after the quake.
