"The Bourne Legacy" star Jeremy Renner sported the Filipino national costume and paired it with fatigue cargo pants when he met with President Aquino in a courtesy call in Malacañang.

The visitors gave the President DVD copies of the Bourne series (The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum), as well movies starring Renner, "The Town" and "The Hurt Locker."
The President gave Renner chocolates, copies of books on his inauguration: "The Inaugural" and the one authored by Aquino’s sisters, "Noynoy’s Sisters. "
Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez Jr., Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma, Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office (PCDSPO) Secretary Ricky Carandang, and MMDA chair Francis Tolentino were also present.
In a text message, Carandang said that “the President thanked them for choosing the Philippines” as the location for the shoot and “expressed the hope that this would lead to more film productions being staged in the country.”
“The producers of the latest Bourne movie expressed their admiration for the Philippine crew and producers for their professionalism and dedication,” Carandang added.
“They also thanked MMDA, OES (Office of the Executive Secretary), PCDSPO, DOT and PCOO for their help in making the filming experience easier. They were happy that they chose to film in Manila rather than the other locations they considered in Vietnam and Indonesia.”
