A fire out was declared by Superintendent Santiago Laguna, chief of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Manila Tuesday morning, nearly four days after the fire erupted, reports said.
Initial investigation revealed that the fire could have originated from the ceiling of Rusty Lopez.
The cost of the damage to property, according to Senior Fire Officer 4 Randy Resurreccion, was estimated at P100 million. Reports said that 17 people, mostly firefighters, were injured.
Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo had reportedly ordered the BFP to conduct a probe into the fire.
