Cristine Reyes apologizes to sister Ara Mina via The Buzz

> Cristine Reyes apologized to her older half-sister Ara Mina over the June 24 episode of The Buzz.


“I’m sorry and I would like to apologize if ever I offended you,” Cristine said on national television, accepting the fact that she was wrong.

On April 18, Ara Mina filed libel and grave coercion charges against Cristine for sending her defamatory text messages. It stemmed from disagreements over the remaining balance for a house the two bought for their mother.

According to Ara’s lawyer, Cristine wanted her older sister to turn over her SUV as payment for the remaining balance of the house. Ara Mina insisted, however, that Cristine only paid the P1-million down payment while she paid the rest of the balance that amounted to P2.3-million.

One alleged text message of Cristine to Ara was: “I'm sure ibebenta mo ‘yang laspag mong katawan na pinagsawaan na ng lahat. Daig pa aso sa sobrang kati.”

But Cristine was apologetic during the episode of The Buzz and wanted to patch things up with Ara.
“Sumama ang loob mo sa akin. I tried my best na pumunta sa ‘yo, alam mo ‘yan, ate. Sinabi ko pa ‘yan sa ‘yo na kung gusto mo luluhod ako sa harapan mo. Sana lumambot na ang puso mo sa akin para maayos na itong gulo, para tahimik na, para sa ikakatahimik ng pamilya natin,” Cristine said.

Would the rift between the sisters be finally okay now that Cristine has made a public apology to Ara?
More importantly, though, will Ara withdraw the charges she filed against Cristine?
