The list includes prohibited prime destinations like Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Libya.
Main reason of the ban is the violation of Section 3 of RA 10022 which aim in protecting the rights of the migrant workers.

Philippine labor officials on March 21, 2012 lifted the ban on the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to three countries — Nigeria, Libya, and South Sudan. This makes the number of OFW-banned countries from 41 to 38.
