Showbiz personality Marian Rivera denied rumors that she was pregnant at a press conference yesterday for her new sitcom.
“Hindi totoo, ano ba. Saan nanggaling yun (It’s not true. Where did the rumor come from)?” Rivera said, according to Yahoo.
She added that she ignored the rumor until boyfriend Dingdong Dantes informed her of the issue.
“Sabi niya sa akin, ‘Gusto ko lang ipaalam sayo na may lumalabas na buntis ka,’ (He told me ‘I want you to know that rumors are saying that you’re pregnant’),” Rivera said. “‘How I wish,’ sinabi niyang ganun (he said).”

Rivera told the Philippine Entertainment Portal that it was Dantes’s sister Trina who was pregnant, not her.
Rivera told the Bulletin that she did want to become a mother in the future, saying, “Sino ba naman ang babaeng hindi gustong magka-anak? Ako gusto kong magka-anak (What kind of woman doesn’t want children? I want children).”
However, she noted that this would not be happening any time soon.
“Marami pa akong gustong gawin sa akin bilang ako, bilang si Marian Rivera (There are more things I want to do as myself, as Marian Rivera).”
Rumors that Marian Rivera was pregnant previously circulated in 2008.
