PAGASA reported the that as of 4:00 PM today, November 7, the eye of the Typhoon “Yolanda” was located based on all available data at 543 km Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (9.7°N, 130.5°E).
The maximum sustained winds of Yolanda is at 215 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 250 kph, the typhoon is forecast to move West Northwest at 33 kph. Based upon the forecast position of Typhoon Yolanda it is expected to be at 71 km East of Roxas City by tomorrow afternoon. It will be at 605 km West of Calapan, Mindoro by Saturday afternoon and on the early morning of Sunday, it will be at 1047 km West of Calapan, Mindoro or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
